Perhaps an old water storage tank cut in half and welded end to end.A lot of house's in your area used to haul in water and still have them.I 've seen one over on T Circle Dr. that I know is not in use.
Form some concrete walls set the two half tanks on top.Weld in some reinforcing and or place reinforced concrete over the top, waterproof and backfill.
The Morongo cafe has a good breakfast and a local gathering place,it may be a good place to find someone with a tank.
