Corner Sink/ Cabinet

I'm remodeling a closet into a half bath and need a corner sink with cabinet. I can find plenty of them for $500+ but I don't need a furniture piece. Lowes has an inexpensive one but I can't get it for 3-6 weeks and that's too long. Anyone know where I can order one? I could just build one if I have to, I'd rather not.

Re: Corner Sink/ Cabinet

Have you checked your local plumbing supply houses and have you checked with your local building salvage yards.

Those things were quite popular in the 70's but have lost favor over the years. Demand is low so they are going to be expensive. A good used one shined up at the local stainless fabricator will be less than $500.00 and look good.

Now for the really fun part... finding the right sink clips.

Re: Corner Sink/ Cabinet

What I would do is just get a regular base/vanity cabinet and modify it, then build the top and put in a sink. Figure out how wide the front needs to be that will match the depth you need and cut the back and sides off, cut the bottom to the desired shape, add a new bottom sheet that will go all the way into the corner and then screw some braces to the walls that will hold the top and have something for the front to mount to.

I haven't checked the local salvage yard. I guess this will be a good excuse to kill an hour there.

Or, to modify or build from scratch? Hmmmm...
