Copper Ceiling

I'm finaly getting around to working in my own kitchen.

The wife suggested doing a copper ceiling in the recessed area with indirect lighting similar to this;
http://www.americantinceilings.com/p...9/L-19-1-6.jpg

The problem is that although this looks nice from downtown, the samples that I ordered are nothing more than spray painted pressed tin.

Does anyone know a supplier that actually has or makes a stamped copper tile or panel that could be applied on a ceiling.

Thanks for the help

Brian

Re: Copper Ceiling

Get out your checkbook. The real stuff, if you can find it, will not come cheap. How does the wife feel about tin?

Re: Copper Ceiling

It's only 50 sq. ft.

I don't mind spending the money, but I don't want to do it and have it look cheap!

The wife doesn't think about how much the products cost because it's getting installed for free.

This started with just changing the tops to granite, then we need a special sink, new ss faucets, pulling wallpaper and changing the paint color and special tumbled tile for the backsplash. I'm still working on the layout design using 3x6 and4x4 tile.

It will look great when it is finished.

I'm not sure about a national supplier, but there's a local hardware store near me that sells them... You could call and see if they'd ship to Ohio...

Re: Copper Ceiling

Thanks for the replies but I found the product in my own back yard.

www.m-boss.com

A pure copper panel @ less than 7.50 per sq ft.

Give me the real stuff
