Contractors Seal/stamp Requirements?

Hello,
The company I work for in California has used the same circular seal on their plans for a while now and have just been told that they are no longer allowed to use a circular seal. I have been digging through the code to find where it states this and have run across the engineers seal and the architects seal and their requirements, but not contractors. Would anyone have any ideas as to where i can find it? I have been digging through leginfo.ca.gov but haven't run across what I need so far. Thanks.

What is the seal for? Off the top of my head I would say depending on where you use it in the blueprints it could me misconstrued for a architect or engineers seal and that may be the only issue with it.

You can try here, in Illinois they actually have example pictures of what's acceptable. Maybe give the licensing board a call.
