We should start a thread where people post images of their laptop, PDAs, or phones with ContractorTalk.com loaded up on them. Then do a prize every now and then.

To bad I dont have one of those Contractor Talk bumper stickers. I could pay a Rasta Fari a few bucks to hold it while I take a pic. Or stick it to one of these junk cars right over the Jamaican license plate.

I would love to find a Masonic Lodge around here.

The locals seemed a little spooked when I asked if there were any others in the hotel wearing a ring like mine. Their eyes got big and round and they said that they had never seen a ring like that up close but did recognize the symbol.

That sounds great. It would be really pretty kewl to see the area that they are in at the time (background). Example: Picture of Laptop with Logo...on a table, by the beach in....Jamaica....
(with a nice fruity tropical drink next to it & A bikini or two in the background wouldn't hurt either....)

We are staying here at the Iberostar but as of today have visited visited: Holiday Inn Sun Spree, Ritz Carlton, Sandals MO Bay and the Royal Decameron. So far I am most impressed with the Iberostar as far as comfort and amenities.

Luckily Shelly talked to her Fun Jet rep. and got us a free car and driver (Omar) for the day through Jamaica Tours. We tipped him $20 and he took us on a shoping excursion.

I also forgot to mention that this whole trip was free (except souvenirs) because she sold more trips to Jamaica than any other agency during a specified time.

Going to other Hotels doesn't count as visiting.

Oh.

Maybe I should have used the correct terminology "familiarization trip" otherwise known as a "fam"

We are going on some kind of moonlight/ glowing water tour tomorrow night. I have always wanted to go diving - but I am horrified of drowning. My first time snorkeling in the ocean years ago ruined me for life as far as going under water in the ocean.

We don't do many tours anymore like when we where younger. It just isn't the same and it seems like a waste of money now. Maybe we are just getting old and boring, but I like to eat, drink and sleep (in a very nice room with the A/C cranked) when on vacation.

Not the first time you see it, scared the hell out of me. Once I found out that the water was not radioactive it was pretty cool

Re: Contractor Talk Is Now In Jamaica

Thats the name!

I'm glad to hear that it is worth seeing. I have been burned by so many junk tours in the past it is hard to trust any of them anymore. They say that you can bring the water back and the organisims will live for 2 days.
