Continuing Education Courses- Your Recommendations

It's the time of year for me to take some continuing education courses for my license but I don't want to take just any old course, I want it to be meaningful.

If you've taken a course and was very impressed by the contents and presentation- I'd like to hear about it. In particular- who gave the presentation and the name of the course.

Around here, I have these to choose from- http://www.doli.state.mn.us/rbc_cont...education.html

Thanks,
Dustin

Re: Continuing Education Courses- Your Recommendations

Didn't hear from anybody about this.

I signed up for and attended a class today hosted by Scherer Bros Lumber and Marvin Windows and presented by inspectors from the state. It was an excellent class and covered a lot of the MN specific code amendments. It was much better than last year's "sales pitch" seminar I attended where the presenter was hawking books and software.

There's two more classes presented at the end of the month if anyone needs credits. It's free and lunch is served by Famous Dave's. Can't beat that!

At the top of the page- http://www.schererbros.com/

Mods- feel free to move this to the contractor licensing forum.
