Consultant

Has anyone here ever acted as a consultant on a job? Using your GC license, doing light supervision and consulting? I know most contractors want to build the whole project but this would be a situation where the company building homes does not have a licensed gc and needs someone that can supervise with a license.

Re: Consultant

I think I'd have to step just a little further before PW would let the ax down .....knowing ones boundaries can be most useful.

However I do think I might owe the gent an apology .....sorry Laurkat .....things just fly off the walls at times over here in my mind.

All that aside I wouldn't put my money on the table unless I was rolling the dice .......hell I'd have to own the dice.

Consultant can be a deceptive word when put in the terms that you laid out.
