Maybe we should give away some shirts. How about free shirts for the first 5 people who reply to this thread saying what they have learned from being a member here. Trade or business related please.

And I'll give rbs a shirt as well for recommending it! (Ed already has one)

Thanks for helping us reach 30K guys!

No one's going to say what they've learned because according to Dateline, we're all arrogant pricks!

Does that count?

Technically.. this guy http://www.contractortalk.com/members/john-wadsworth-30000/
but because we have deleted spammers along the way he didn't join today.

I'll send out coupons for the shirts once we have 5. THanks

Re: Congratulations On 30,000 Members!!!

A few things I learn

Regardless where we all live or what we do. We all seem to have all the same problems

I thought good, thoughtful, hardworking, honest contractors seemed to be a dying breed until I found this site and was surprise there are more good guys out there.

No matter what I want to learn or need to know in business or in the trades someone one here always has the answer or the resource to point me in the right direction.

Being a contractor is still the coolest job

I've learned people tend to get pissed off easy. But I've also learned there's more than one way to skin a cat and just because someone doesn't agree with you that doesn't make either one wrong. Some great ideas come off of these suggestions.
