Commercial Electrical Costs

For ball park purposes, I am trying to figure out the range of costs for electrical contractors charge for a commercial building. 4000 sf, wood construction, 10 walls, sheet rock ceilings and walls. Regards

Somewhere between $1 and $100,000,000,000.

Re: Commercial Electrical Costs

the most efficient way to estimate a job is to whack yourself in the knee with a hammer. then, gauge your pain on a scale of 1-10. if you're pain is a 7 on the scale, then you should charge 70 dollars per hour. if it is a 6, charge 60 dollars per hour and so on.

hope this helps

Some have even said to charge however much it costs to fill the tank with gas. Try that.

What kind of ball park will it be? If its for, like baseball, you better not go with sheet rock ceilings, you'll be doing a lot of patching.

Why not put the plans out for bid to licensed electrical contractors?
