Class A And Back Taxes

Hello, first time poster here. I've been looking around the web for info on back taxes in relation to obtaining a class a license. While I can't seem to find any info pertaining to the subject, a few colleagues have told me that one cannot obtain a class a while taxes are owed. Any input, info or resources would be greatly appreciated.

Great forum by the way!

Well smitty7, it would help if you put your location in your profile. In Virginia, you have to show a net worth of $45K and I don't believe that back taxes would come into play for a Class 'A' license if your net worth is appropriate. Not sure about the state you reside in.
