Christmas Is Just Around The Corner, It Must Be, Because I.....

Because I just received my first "Specialty Business Christmas Cards, 2008" catalogue in the mail today fromPaul Oxman Publishing.

They actually have some funny looking designs that would be noticed.

Has anyone ever considered being the FIRST one to send out Christmas Cards?

How about Christmas in August or September, saying something like,

"We Think Of Our Customers Sooner Than Anyone Else".

or

"Our Christmas Spirit Service Is A Year Long Program"

Any thoughts, or should I just forget about them like usual, when winter creeps up on us with all of the shorter work days and darkness by 4:30 pm?

Send out the cards now and everyone will notice them. During the holidays your card will get tossed unless you include some money.

I got mine a few days ago. It did make me stop and think about what I was going to send this yr. My thought- I always take pics of the jobs we're working on and in the process I've caught the guys doing some pretty silly things over the yr. I thought it might be funny to put all the pictures of them on our cards. I'll think about it agian in Nov!

You know what I always say Ed? Always be marketing!

By the looks of that one picture you better be mailing soon!

I am working with my printer to create our own calendar this year of completed jobs in our niche. Then he can sell it everyone in our market all over the state. Who knows?

Well, what I do is this: Every 4th of July, I host a very decent fireworks display and all my past customers and current business associates get invitations. I get about all my business for the next year booked at that party. Every year it gets bigger.

Even had the police show up this year!
