The middle step looks like the sturdiest part of the deck and steps.

She went to look at that job with Mommy. Mommy took the pics and the measurements. I still haven't seen it yet. I'm hoping it looks better in person, but the wife said it don't.

Now, I get the great joy of working on it next week sometime.

Wonder if I would get in trouble for using that fix? I'll tell them Tscarborough said it was an accepted building practice.

It will only take one. Me. This is a freebie.

And I won't be reusing the picnic table.

Damn Browns fans.

Watch them Steelers clean house tomorrow. We'll smack the Cards around just like we do the Browns.

She might make it up the stairs without a broken face, but when she climbs into the refrigerator on the deck and decides to close the door and hide she will only have about 20 minutes of air supply.

Actually, you hit the nail on the head Brock.

I have been searching for a ramp recipient and through many sources.
A couple of days ago, Community Action called and told us that CYS called them. They need these steps built to get their kid/kids? back. (Plus other things besides the steps, my wife suspects.)

We told them that it wasn't the requirements, but we would contact them back. We called our local lumber yard and they said they would donate materials so we said yes too.

Now, I'm committed and STILL looking for a ramp/ramps to do.
