Cedar Shake Siding

I work in the mid-west part of the country.One of my customers is asking me to give him a price to put cedar shake siding on one of his gable walls.Looking for help to give him a price for just labor to do the job.These are real wood shakes,no panel systems.

3.8 hour per square a carpenter laying them at a 6" weather according to walkers' estimate. I'd add more if you've never done them before and even more time if they are true split rather then saw cut.
