Can't Quite Decide What To Charge

Hi guys

just wonderin what i should be charging by the hour. I would like to know what guys in the Pennsylvania area are charging - just because I know that in Delaware - somebody told me that whatever guys in Pennsylvania are charging - you multiply that by .3445 (to nearest decimal or whatever).

anyways - please help out. I need to have this right because I'm doin some work for my cousin tomorrow. Actually it's my cousin's ex-wife's grandparents. But my cousin got me the job

ALSO - how mcuh should i give to my cousin for the getting me the job??? Should he get like 20% of the job?? is that fair????

Re: Can't Quite Decide What To Charge

All areas are different. So, if you want to know what to charge per hour, you have to ask all the other guys in your area who do the same kind of work you do, then cut it by five bucks an hour so you can get all the work away from them.

And don't worry if you're losing money on every job you do. You'll be sure to make it up in volume.
