Buying A New Shop-Vac?????

Say no more. Think no further!!!

This is the ONE!

Used it once and LOVE IT!

Nice to put EVERYTHING and then some, away nice and neat.

Suck golf balls through Garden Hoses as well.

Blows like the Dickens.

I have the small Rigid Vac, 4 gallon I think but it's five h.p. Works really well and it's easy to carry around when I don't want to get the big shop vac out. Just got it so don't know how it will last but I'm impressed so far.

It looks like they are trying to make it like one with that on board storage on top.

I have one of the really small tool box ridgid vacs, I like it because it is very small.

I hate the big giant shop vacs, they are worthless to me anymore.

Believe me, it may say 5HP but it ain't. Especially if you are plugging it into a 120vac outlet.

I do too. I can't remember if it is 2 gal or 4 gal. But It came with a cage and I screwed it to the wall and there it sits. I connected it to an auto switch that is activated by my chopsaw. When I turn the saw on, the vac comes on.

There it is on the right

I got the 2 gallon, the 4 gallon looks more like a normal sized tool box.

I have a couple of the auto on and off outlet things, they are ok. My CT-22 has spoiled me rotten though.

Re: Buying A New Shop-Vac?????

It's funny you should say that, because a few others have commented on it. It's not like I drank that in a day. I just collect the cans and when I get a big box full I bring them home and the kids cash them. I don't drink the leaded stuff anymore, unleaded in the black can. If I could figure out how to get this stuff in me intravenously I would be a happy man.

Instead of sugar they use chemicals. So instead of fat you get cancer

Anyway, I have a ridgid vac was great at first but now it sucks.

Or doesn't suck enough!

Probably all the drywall dust, I vacuumed up.

I picked up one of these (turbo II) a few weeks ago and I likes it enough I probably won't be buying another vac in the near future:

Drywall dust clogs the filters quick... The Cleanstream Hepa filter for the Ridgid vacs work great, and hold up to repeated beatings to get them clean again. The usual paper filter that comes with the vacs never lasts long. I've had the Hepa filter in mine for 2 years, and I use that thing at least 4 days a week.

Ridgid used to make a 2 gallon vac with an auto-switch for power tools. I have it and love it, but cant find filters for it anymore... There's a Rube Goldberg filter on it at the moment...

Does that Vac come with storage trays?

Cause it seem like it's carrying allot of unnecessary weight, I like Vacuums not star wars droids telling me what to do!

on second thought a droid would be cool!

Re: Buying A New Shop-Vac?????

I don’t even own a vacuum cleaner. I actually clean my house with a ridgid 4.5 gallon vac and hepa hilter. For 100 bucks and $50 in attachments, I have a vac that is 10 times better than any $500 vacuum cleaner...you can vacuum up beer bottle caps, that would kill a hoover.
