Building Code Online?

I'm glad the NEC is finally online. Does anyone know if the IBC is online anywhere?

No, and it might never be. Even municipalities who's adopted the International series can't post it on their municipal websites. All they can do is publish any changes or addendums. You can get whatever you're after pretty reasonably on eBay. Particularly now, since there's a changeover in process. The '03 is going pretty reasonably.

You get get the 2006 IRC on a disk from EBay for about $55. The IBc is about $65 - $70. It also allows you to search easily.

Not as handy as a hard copy with notes, etc., but it is easy to print out a page when you need it.

I've gotten those CD's for about that price. They are very obvious pirated copies when you have them in hand, but I don't really care. They're mine now.

I posted this like a year ago it is for Seattle and a few other areas but you can still read though what was crossed out. It is for 2003 but I think you can buy the 2006 online.
