Booyah!!! Almost There

Yup, only 42 posts away from 1000. I guess I've spent too much time here.

On the other hand, on my Mustang forum, I have around 5000 posts. Hot cars are way more fun than working. (I have a 500 hp Mustang Cobra)

I was just goofing, one upping you, last Mustang I had was 20 years ago. a '67 from Arizona with a 302 out of a '68 (bought the '68 for $150 with a nice interior, new motor new top, body was shot, took the motor and several interior parts, sold some other parts and junked it for $100), it might have had 300 hp at the flywheel on a good day, only ran a low 14 second 1/4 mile. Fastest car I've had was a hopped up Grand National, had a Honda (cycle) that ran 10's. I did have a yellow 'Cuda, we called it piss yellow, not cop teaser yellow.

Those newer Mustangs are unbelievable, it's crazy how easy it is to make them fast and all the parts available, I watch that show Pinks on the Speed channel and see street Mustangs running 10's (1/4 mile) all day long. There are some insanely quick ones out my way, one guy has a twin turbo that runs 10's (1/4 mile) and it's his daily driver in the summer.

Sounds like you're a gearhead, just like me.
My car is an 04 Cobra convertible, screaming yellow.
It is mildly modified: catbacks, pully and tune. It puts down 450 horsepower and 470 torque at the wheels, which equates to about 520 at the flywheel.
Bone stock it ran 12.99@ 108.00

now, she'll do mid 12's. It is my daily driver, which is why I haven't done much more.

All 3 of my sons also have Mustangs, along with 3 of my workers, so it's in our blood!
