BNI, Growing Your Business W/relationships

I have been involved with BNI (Business Network International) for 5 years. Developing long lasting relationships have contributed to much of my success, even after members have left the program. BNI is a great opportunity to move forward and meet other business owners and associates. Consider your business, NOT THE TIME it takes for a weekly meeting. Meetings are only once a week for 1-1/2hrs. Breakfast or Lunch meetings, depending on the chapter you belong to are the norm. BNI is a structured meeting and not a social club. It's getting down to business and gives you the opportunities to present your services every week before the entire group with 2 guest speakers from the chapter. BNI WORKS!!!!!

I have continued doing business with previous members and their referrals long after some have left the group for various reasons. Their are some businesses that could be difficult to refer, however, your business may be easy for a referral from that person. Give BNI a chance to work! Don't expect referrals every week. It's all about developing relationships and trust with other members.

You question the time it takes away from your business? BULL.........! Everyone eat's breakfast or lunch. Everyone takes breaks throughout the day. What' the problem? Use the time to "work on your business" and "not in your business." If you don't need any more business and made your millions, can I work for you!

I hope you consider BNI as a stepping stone for growing your business. There are many other referral organizations, but nothing compares to Business Networking International.

Wouldn't it be nice to have 30 or 40 sales people working for you for free! Can't beat it!!!!!
BNI WORKS so join today and watch your business grow.

Good Luck and much success!

Not really spam...

He's just drinking the Kool-Aid. I was a part of one of those groups and they [I]can[I] work for you, but it really depends on many factors.

They do try to make the members preach the benefits.

How much does it cost?

Side note, I just found out that they have lunch time meetings in some locations.

I'm a firm believer in networking. Not a member of the group mentioned above tho. I work on the local chapter's board of directors of Coastal Conservation Association. The contacts & relationships with other board members has been a benefit to my company & the work we do to raise money goes to a great cause.

I'm a member of BNI as well. It's about $350 a year, and you've got an overpriced meal to buy each week. For the cost, it's worth it.

I've met some great professionals, and I've finally gotten some good leads that are turning into business.

it's worth a visit to your local chapter to see if it's a fit for you.
