It looks like some software program has a digital takeoff product. Since I am a customer I called them and they told me that it is not yet available but will be starting nov 1 and they are going to introduce this whole thing for $200-300. I find that kind of hard to beleive from what I hear this kind of thing can cost but there prices have been really inexpensive and I really like the estimating program. It is top notch. I do bid work now and then so I am interested but really havent been looking for what they say is a software based takeoff program. I was wondering what other folks have been using in this area for estimating and if people think this would be a good time saver. It seems like it would from what I can see they do on their video.
