There is some good information here about home plans purchased in plan books and on websites. Even though we too sell house plans the booklet educates on the things about shelf purchased plans and the things you should know before you buy. Most good contractors and builders know this however I am trying to compile the facts about this industry as we always go over and beyond by servicing the client in filed in any town USA sealing our home plans in 48 states. The plan business has been watered down and I am trying to lift the standard of the way this industry has worked for years. hopefully with today’s economic times these standards can be lifted.

Any comments would be welcome. Hope you enjoy the information. It can also serve as a great guide for any potential clients you may have. We have developed this booklet and use this all the time to help homeowners know why we (us contractors) have to deal with the plans they buy. “Junk in junk out”, unfortunately we have to deliver the goods of quality of work so the junk out eats at our margins and budgets because we want to deliver quality not junk.

Download this 20-page booklet “10 Things You Should Know Before You Buy a Home Plan” Packed with great information about what makes a good home plan. More than 20 illustrations and easy to follow narrative. Get the details on why so many online home plans look good online, but don't work so well at the job site.
