AxMen - New Season!

Damn, what a good show! Watching the water loggers scares the s**t out of me, because to me they just dont seem to have safety practices locked down. Something is going to happen, hopefully it wont, but I just got that feeling.

Re: AxMen - New Season!

You'd think that after a bajillion years of man chopping down trees, we'd have a safe way to conduct a logging operation down pat by now. Either that, or the show's producers purposely sought out the companies who work like wild men.

Their gene pool is not too deep. Maybe thats why they have a hard time in the water

At least the Ice Road Truckers make it seem like they're working as safe as they can, given the circumstances. Those loggers just work like a pack of wolves.

In my youth I used to cut down trees, I really like the guy who climbs the big red woods and tops them. I used to do that and every time you felled it you were strapped in and the whole tree would rock the s--t out of you.

I really respect those guys is a tuff way to make a living, almost like the crab guys.

It wasn't. A few posts evaporated from this thread that would have made it more clear. It was a person with just a couple posts harassing a regular.

The man with the white hat and silver star comes riding into town. Keeps his gun in his holster and cleans up the streets.

I bet the aqua logger isn't even SCUBA certified. He certainly doesn't know anything about boats, barges, or anything having to do with water.

It's amazing he's alive.

The show is good. I'm watching it now.

Makes me appreciate lumber more, that's for sure. Also makes me realize how stupid some people can be.

It is very entertaining isn't it? The producers did a good job of mixing it up this year by adding the aqua dogs and the heli loggers.
I think it comes on tonight. We'll see the heli team tonight. Should be fun

Re: AxMen - New Season!

The father/son team of aqua loggers should have a safety video made about them. The father is a very poor role model for the kid. I know why he doesn't have a nice barge, it would be destroyed in one season. He runs into bridges, blows hydralic filters, is a horrible driver. When he blew out the hydralic filter he started the outboard engine. Does the hydralics run off the outboard motor? I would think it would have a generator of some sort to run it.

Re: AxMen - New Season!

That water logger sure pulls up some pretty lumber though!

Too bad he will probably kill every one that works for him.

I bet they get all boozed up before they go out swimming with the wood.
