Apparently, I'm A Roadbuilder Now

-15 degrees yesterday. Thirty minutes before I'm supposed to pick my family up to go on vacation, and I'm out there doing all I can to get this heavy ass lift into someone's backyard barn. . Tried to go up the steep part, slid back down. Had to build the long way around. Screwed all the sheets together so they wouldn't slip. Hey, job's gotta get done, right?!

Could it have been done with two sheets? Roll on one, move the other forward?

Tore up a lot of sheets to get it to the barn, so we needed more than two. In hindsight, we definitely could have done it with two or three sheets of 3/4" ply, because that wouldn't have shredded so easily. But I happened to have ordered about twenty sheets too many of the OSB for this job, and we went with what was onhand.

Probably wasted through about $200 in osb, so lesson learned. Most importantly, came home from vacation to the job being 95% done which all took place while I sat by a pool with a bottle of rum and my hot fiancé, watching our kids go down the water slides over and over.

You post pictures of how you got your lift into the barn, and not your hot fiance?
