Anyone Still Have A Fallout Shelter...


on their property...when I was a child, many people were concerned about the cold war...this made for a run on building "Bomb Shelters" ...anyone here still have one on the property?....Pics would be great...

I have a military communications chamber built into my garage. It is about 10' by 6' and the walls are solid steel. It is wired with lighting and ventilation with one double glass window. My friends call it the bomb shelter.

Ive got and old anderson shelter at the bottom of my garden that dates back to world war 2, its a very tight fit to get inside being that im 6ft2 and 14st.
Im actually clearing that end of the garden out so it will have to go soon but i will try and get some photos taken and on here for you if you like?
its not that big but it must of made them feel safe i guess.

One of my customers has one. I'll be there, trimming her shrubs, in a week or 2, I'll try to get some pics.

Fallout shelter is such a bad word. I have something like it but I utilize an acronym to phrase it:
Base And Resource Administration Command Kakistocracy Observation Ballistic And Maintenance Authority...
