Anyone Had Any Experience W/Servicemaster?good Or Bad?

Has anyone here ever worked through Servicemaster? I had a guy call me and ask me to sign up with them, but I don't want to throw my money down the drain. Has anyone here done any work through them? If so, is it worth paying for?
thanks for your help-

Yep, I've used em with GREAT success.

They did a fantastic job of cleaning my carpets

And even better job of keeping pests, insects, and termites outta my house

Blue bar near top of page.
Click search, type Service Master.
Have 6 pack handy.

Re: Anyone Had Any Experience W/Servicemaster?good Or Bad?

thanks for the advice- I had done a search but I had typed servicemaster as all 1 word instead of 2, so I hadn't found much about 'em, but when I went back after reading your responses and searched for it as 2 words, I see why you suggested having the 6 pack handy There are a ton of posts about them & not many good ones. The contractor talk article about lead services was very helpful too.
The guy who called me yesterday called my wife back today and when she started asking him questions about the leads he acted like she didn't know what she was talking about. I will definately not be doing business with them.

They tend to sub ALL their work and rely heavily on affirmative action.

Well if I had worked for mcdonalds as a dishwasher since 1999 , then I decide to make a career change to lets say ...a carpenter.Service magic WILL buy me a tool belt and give me a van with a work order with VERY minimal training .

then I show up at your house to replace some facia located 44' feet up , all the while smoking the gunge with a hangover.
