Anyone Get Compact Equipment Magazine?

Anyone Get Compact Equipment Magazine? If so I was wondering if someone could tell me how ContractorTalk.com is showing up in it. I've had two or three new members that said they heard about the site from that magazine.

Always a good thing to get free press but I would just like to see it. Anyone have a scan?

Re: Anyone Get Compact Equipment Magazine?

lol, I thought I get it, but I get Heavy Equipment Magazine.

That is so weird people are willing to give the site free advertising.

Edit: Is it this magazine
http://www.compactequip.com/index.htm

I got it. It looks good. The add is in the Web sightings section on the last page. Had to reduce its size and zip it.

Re: Anyone Get Compact Equipment Magazine?

First off,
Congratulations Nathan.

That is a substantial position in a widespread magazine.

Look at that, right there next to Bob Vila !!! (Shoulder to Shoulder !!!)

I went to their site and signed up for my "Free" subscription.

"Contractor Talk" is The Best !!!

Holy Crap... that's great!

Thanks for finding it for me Ken, Its great to see it with my own eyes. I thought maybe they had a one liner or mentioned it in an article. I didn't know it was a 1/2 page spread right under Bob Villa.

Yea, according to their media kit a 1/2 page ad running one time is $5,336. Can't beat getting that for free!

Am I gonna have to quit my day job to moderate all this traffic?

No need for printing. I can send the whole mag. I don't know anything about compact equipment or how I got signed up for it in the first place. Most I use is a friends Bobcat with a trencher attached.

Sending the scan now.

Re: Anyone Get Compact Equipment Magazine?

Awesome luck there Nathan. I had a forum I ran a long time ago that show up in an article in Red Book magazine of all places, I doubled my traffic overnight, they also duplicated the article on their online version of the magazine and I got traffic from that for over 3 years.

You can't beat that type of thing!

Re: Anyone Get Compact Equipment Magazine?

Nate,
Maybe this is a "Trojan Horse". They run an add about Contractortalk, then get your members applying for subscriptions building up thier base. If that makes any sense.
