JLC, as above.
Doug, I'm guessing it's "Tools of the Trade"

I'll add Remodeling (The Best, IMHO), Qualified Remodeler,& Builder.

Hope this helps.

Oh, and none of them will do you any good, unless you read, comprehend, & implement the info!

Anybody get Walls & Celings?

It's a drywaller magazine and free. They should call it "The contractors business journal" or something along those lines. Some of the best business articles for contracting I have read have been published in that magazine.

Great magazine. Excellent articles along with detailed illustrations and techniques. I save all my past issues for reference.

I also give a gift subscription to new employees. It helps to reinforce the importance of " above average" workmanship in the field. I also get to see them implement techniques related to the job and understand the level of quality workmanship that is expected.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Re: Any Good Builder's Magainze You Guys Subscribe To?

Someone bought me a subscription to Fine Woodworking, but I don't read it too much. When I get the inkling to read something about a trade, I just go to the Taunton Press site and order a book or two through Amazon. I just bought Renovation 3, hardcover. It's kind of one volume remodeller's encyclopedia. I have their book on hanging doors as well. It gives me a headache.

Paid subscrption to JLC, great magazine for the hands on type contractor. Also get an automatic subscription to "Builder" magazine as a member of the HBA. Wouldn't pay for that one though, geared more to the larger and production types.
