Need a home builder

I have a building lot - ready to go, plans and wishes. Since the home builder market is soft, I'm looking for an experienced WoCo builder to work with me on price and process. I have a semi-non-typical home I wish to construct, but I need someone who will:

- return my calls and e-mails (not typical with eastern shore builders)
- work with me on price (sharpen your pencil and put away your builder/sf chart)
- think creative, but simple
- knowledge of green a plus (geotherm, solar, wind)
- honest, flexible, with references
- samples (a website a plus - shame on you if you don't have one)
- good subs
- speak English

I'm willing to pay, but not over-pay. I'm looking for a deal in this market. If your interested, please send your URL so I can see your samples and e-mail me your availability over the next couple months. If no website (I can't understand why) e-mail me first, then we can arrange to view home samples. If you don't have a website, contact me and I'll design a great one for you.

How can you ask a builder to sharpen his pencil and work for less just because the economy is down ?/do you charge less for what you do ? does your insurance company,doctor, lawyer ,or the irs?? I understand everyone wants a deal but your kind of customer is not what the kind of professional builder you seek is going to work with.why don't you go ask the salesman at the Mercedes dealer to sharpen his pencil and put away his price sheet / man your preying on hard working people here i hope you get nothing but hardship searching on craigslist for a (qualified professional builder) what the hell are you thinking???

Am I the only one that thinks this is awesome? This guy will undoubtably spend 2 or 3 times as much as he budgeted once the project gets underway. It will probably take forever for each phase to be completed while this jerkoff gets his money in line, and the contractors who do involve themselves with this guy will get what they asked for. While they are completely ignoring their business to meet completion points just to get a partial partial payment. The cycle continues.

Yup...that's the sad truth.

What so many consumers don't seem to get is that the drastic price reductions are on already built homes that someone is paying a mortage/builder loan on already...and they have to get out from under it.

How about this?

I'm a Home builder looking for A very rich person with a piece of land that I can build a Home for.

You must go with my design and never ask about the price. You will need to give me a first draw ($3,200,000) up front in cash only.

I prefer customers with a condo complex within walking distance for the site for my wife and I and the subs to live in at no cost to us. If you don't own a condo complex shame on you, Call me and I will build one for you before we get started.

You must......

Never call me for ANY reason
Have a catered breakfast and lunch delivered to the site daily. Not common in the southeast.
Come to the site and tell us we are great daily
Be flexible so I can bend you over.
Have no knowledge of real Construction cost.
Pay me in full before we complete the job.

Location: on the beach
Compensation: Whenever I ask for some.
There will be no contract and I will not give my name.
Please reply by the end of the weekend.
