Acoustical Ceiling In 2009 Market

What will be the pricing on supplying labor and material on drop ceilings in this new economical crunch??? Afraid to bid...afraid not to.

I saw some illegals drop some then run away without getting paid.

I've got an Iraqi Army rifle here. Never fired, only dropped once.

Yes, this should be fun. I'm off to make the popcorn...

And what does a rifle have to do with suspended ceilings??? Guess I am more behind than I thought.

Nuthin'. Sorry. It's an old joke.
I wish I could tel you about how the recession is or will affect the price of ceilings, but I just don't know. I haven't done any myself, and I haven't done a job as a GC in a long time that called for one either.

Somebody else will weigh in and give you some advice I'm sure.

About the same - some people might drop their rates as they drop out of business

Materials depends on your suppliers & I don't see any of them dropping prices

What are you afraid of - the worst they can say is - No

Sell yourself, sell your company, or become a sellout - your choice

You might want to put an intro in the appropriate area & your location if you want more sensible answers - of course that can't be guaranteed either

So I read the title and I expected this thread to be about that popcorn cr@p I remove from ceilings and some sort of a resurgence this year...

...Drop ceiling with acoustic tiles is more like what I discovered.
