I'll try to edit the transcript and post it.

Frankly I was a little thrown off by someone who called this an infomercial because that was no what this is intended to be. No money is exchanging hands here at all and I just posted his book and link as a thank you for being willing to come talk with us.

Anyways, I hope a lot of you guys can make it out.

I think its great that someone that has taken the time to write about his experiences and how he solved his problems in this business is willing to come share with others that are still struggling.

While I think that speaks well of Mr. Stone, I think Nathan deserves a big pat on the back for luring such notoriety to our humble job shack.

Good job, Nathan!

Great job Nathan.Other trade related BBs would be wise to take notice of what you have going on here. This type of chat is a huge benefit to your members.

We aren't in the building trades and I'll at least be sitting in on this chat.We have suffered some set backs this year with our pressure washing service.Largely in part to lack of marketing and non-committal customers(commercial properties that will not maintain a regular cleaning schedule),Gas prices have slowed down consumer buying(most consider pressure washing something they can do without,so they will put it off rather than risk spending the money they can use for gas).Oh yeah and we haven't raised prices in 2yrs on some accounts. These accounts have become break even situations.I didn't start this business to leave money on the table.I just need to learn how to grasp the extra cash that is there.
Early this year we lost a bid($48K yrly) for washing a fleet of 65 refuse trucks because I couldn't get them to sign a contract. My sales skills suck.I can talk with anyone alive, but closing a sale is difficult for me.

Even if people still think this is an infomercial... SCREW them. This is YOUR board Nathan YOU pay the bills not the members. If they dont like what you do they can leave. I love this place the way it is. I will not be able to make it to the chat but I am looking forward to the transcripts.

The most at any given time was 25 but I think we cycled through about 35 or 40 total.

It was a good showing

Sounds like I really missed out! I couldn't make it. I have family visiting from out of state. I'm looking forward to seeing the transcripts.
