Duuuude! I'm feeling it for you. We had a cold snap too. I had to shift into long pants and thick, dark golf shirts. I'm keeping jackets in the truck now and even had the heat on in the mornings.

Re: 6" Of Snow

You Floridians kill me Teetor.

I remember years ago when I was at Disney in November. I was getting picked up by the Disney van at 6:30 a.m. to go to the golf course. The van pulls up and I load my clubs. When I get in, the driver has the heat cranked up full and is wearing a parka. The whole ride she's complaining about how cold it is and when she got out of the van and saw me standing there in shorts and a golf shirt (no jacket) she looked at me like I was from another planet!

By the way, it was about 68 F.

Sorry, this time of year you send it to us and we are going through a front right now. Current temp is 68.9F. I wish that you cold blooded suckers could keep it to yourselves and leave us alone.

It was -5C here today and I saw a guy wearing shorts when I was at the gas station filling up!

I went golfing a couple of weeks ago when it was +4C.

Re: 6" Of Snow

What happened to Global Warming. I was kinda routing for that and getting used to it. -20 degrees here tonight. These temps are rough on vehicles but maybe not as much as Teetor's salt water.> I'm down in the Keys in April, (Mom's 80th). I'm bringing my guitar and my fiddle. Tune your banjo.

Re: 6" Of Snow

We had close to 6" of snow here... Today the HIGH was 2 degrees F and the low tonight is going to be -13 F with wind chill -15 to -35 F. that is a little cold. My truck would not even start today. No big deal though I was not going to work today. And now tommorow it is supposed to be +33 F. I love Colorado the weather here is wierd.

Re: 6" Of Snow

WE've been getting pretty consistant snow for awhile, it has'nt snowed this much this early in the season since i was a youngster. Nice thing is it's all money falling from the sky, made more in 2 weekends than I typically do in a good month of real work

Too friggin cold earlier this week, -23 to -2*F? windchills with ambient temps in the low 2-4*F mark, so kinda forced into taking the week off and just plowing/sand/and salting which is fine, but I'm getting very burnt out of that alread too. I can deal with sunny and 12* with no wind, but everything I have is outdoor work through january so I'm forced to play the weather game and get further behind schedule and already got people calling and asking the "when" question...I tell'em when they can make the snow stop and the weather bearable I'll get caught up and get to you as soon as possible. I make too much to quick plowing/sanding/salting with minimal effort not to prioritize that over real work

Funny thing, the past 2 yrs I've scheduled real light in the winter since I dont like to freeze and plowing gets me by just fine. THIS year (since past winters have been so late and mild when it did come) I told wife I'd schedule through the winter....and now this sheeot happens LOL!! Cant win gambling with mother nature So bought me some new boots tonight, some bad azzed socks, toe warmer packets...I'm ready. Just sucks trudging through 12+ inches of this crap and having to tarp everything off to keep from tracking snow inside, or the 10 minute ritual of taking boots off and then putting them back on again....or the obese cant bend over, bend arms, or legs cuz ya got soo much cloth on...now that really zaps the energy from ya-try working and not being able to move your limbs LOL!!

Re: 6" Of Snow

WHEW! I'm glad that's over! Back up to 88 today, good thing too, I don't think that I could have taken much more. LOL

Taking the 60 Hat. out on Sun. for sailfish, anybody want to join in? Don't expect much, the moon is coming on full and it's been pretty rough lately so the water is pretty churned up. Beats snow though.
