QB Pro: Accepting Accountant Changes
I sent my accountant an accountant's copy file in March and got it back this week. Now that I have the copy back with his changes, I have not been able to sync my copy with his without loosing all the data I have entered since I sent him the copy. Using the Import Accountant's Changes menu choice does not work with the file he sent me.
Am I expecting too much to be able to merge my existing data with his changes from March/early April without loosing all my new entries since then? |

Re: QB Pro: Accepting Accountant Changes
You accountant sent you a backup copy, not an accountant's copy.
Tell him what your problem is and have him send you the proper file.

Re: QB Pro: Accepting Accountant Changes
You've probably have found out how do this already but, if you click on your help button and search "restore portable file" it will tell you how to do this without overwriting the existing file.
