Help With Qb06 Setup

Hi, need some help here.
I have had QB 06 since 06. I don't think I installed it correctly. I also don't understand where to log stuff properly. ( such as owners equity, deposits, etc )
questions are,
1) do I start the entire program over for 09 with a 0 bal.
2) is there anyone out there that could either start me over or fix my mess?

Re: Help With Qb06 Setup

If your results from the last couple of years are not worth keeping, for tax or record keeping purposes, I would uninstall the program, delete all archive files, and reinstall the program. The only real number you need to have is the ending balance from your last bank statement of 2007.

Trying to correct incorrect information that has been closed out or bad initial information is difficult.

Re: Help With Qb06 Setup

You might want to update the 06 version. I was just on the phone with Quickbooks and they said that they are not going to support the 06 version after May of this year. I am not fully sure if they meant the whole program or just the payroll part. You might want to call them to find out.
