Your Website Is A Marketing Tool!
Many contractors look at a website as an unrelated expense from marketing. This is regrettable and the major reason why many websites under-perform in their sales potential. Having a website is one thing, but you do not want to scare away your potential clients. The Internet is still very much in its infancy and therefore our view of the internet is still developing.

I am trying to focus on what is going to make me and them money. My other forms of marketing van be done? I have been working with PPC but it is so expensive with each click over $7 google is making some mad money. web page cashattconstruction .com any hints or ideas to get lead or drive traffic would be great.

We got our website up about 3 weeks ago. The best thing we ever did. My wife designed it. She knows all about that keyword stuff and metatags, etc. I know she also went an registered our company with lead services that allow your phone number and web address to be posted. None of those where you have to call the leads service 800 number to get to us. Also she sent a mass email out of friends and family that the site is up and asked them to pass it on to coworkers and friends, etc. She also does that Google Analytics to view who is looking at the site and where the traffic is coming from. We are getting postive results. Check it out if you get a chance.

Your website is a tool for marketing your business. But you have to remember to actively promote and advertise your website.
So it's marketing that needs marketing. Kind of unique, but well worth the efforts.

What keywords are you using to cost so much???? I have several MFA pages that only get me .20 per click. And my Domain Sales site only costs me .05 to .20 per click.
This guy http://www.seoelite.com/index1.htm has some form of free newletter that I use to give me ideas. And Google has free keyword tools.
Hope this info will help some.

It's a great marketing tool. I closed all phone book accounts several years ago. Not listed anywhere except the web now. It works for me because I'm small and only target certain jobs. My niche was small when I had listings, so there was no change to speak of for jobs, but the tirekicker phone calls died down.

I had one for 3 yrs. (contract deal). Didn't do diddly and cost a total of around $600.
Wasted money IMHO.

My website has been up for a couple months. I'm having a real hard time getting it to generate any hits without shelling out a bunch of $$$$

It will be in my signature as soon as I have 15 posts and I'm allowed to have links. Shouldn't take me too long.

pegasusdesigns.hostsnake is not going to get the traffic that pegasusdesigns.com would, for starters.
Even ir you're going to have somebody design and build your site, you need to register your own dot.com.
Then you keep the dotcom info private, but let the developer only have a seterate access to the ftp of your site for working purposes. If hsnake regged your name, it's theirs, not yours.
Hopefully, you can get a name yourself.
