Post Are you choosing your retirement or is it choosing you?

Unless you are planning on never retiring, you are going to need a sizable financial nest egg. You know that. I know that. Everyone knows that. So I guess I'm self-employed

Excellent article. I liked the distinction between being a business owner (it can operate fine without you) and being self-employed (you are the business). It's good to keep in mind that there's nothing to sell if you're self-employed.

I'm not sure I want to change, but the distinction frames the question well.

That is a great article. I recently started putting money into stocks and bonds to try and start my road to financial independence. A couple weeks ago I freaked out about my own retirement (which won't be until at least 30 years from now, haha), and it spurred me on.
