Tiger Website Review Please

Seemed more appropriate to start a new thread for this...

I feel strongly at the moment that I need better pictures on the site (and I have a horizontal company name I might use) but don't want to slow the load time much. Suggestions would be appreciated. My webmaster has some personal things to deal with so nothing will be changed for awhile.

I also have some phenominal SEO going at the moment so any changes will be reluctantly and seldom.

Thanks,
Dave

Terrible if you want a first look opinion from me, however being on line is showing forward progress so congrats.

You could put a huge "Call Now and phone number" across the top of every page maybe in the banner or summin just make it big.

I'd take the phone numbers off the testimonials.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate it. I've thought about those phone numbers also. I don't believe anyone calls them, though I have written permission from all of them.

What exactly is terrible about it? And I'm curious about the Call Now thing. Do people really call more because you say Call Now. The phone number is there, do people really need a command?

All the pics on your gallery are "Before" and "what not to do" - they look like crap, and that's the first pics people see on your site.
Make the "After" pics load up on the page and have a link to the "before" pics.

You're right Mac. I looked at someone else's site & thought the same thing but didn't connect it with my own. I'll have to get that fixed.

Dave,

I like the referrals, but could you go back to several of your customers and get them to sit down and provide a short video referral instead of just the written sentences?

I think that the personal home owner to home owner video referral would mean more to potential future customers.

Good Idea...Ed from the NW suburbs of Chicago. How the heck are you?

Now here's a man who knows the value of using keywords in a signature! What about Barrington and Crystal Lake? I feel left out.

Crystal Lake is a Hand Nailing only town, per code. Let the Polish and Spanish subs from Chicago do that. I think that Copley, Cost and Hogan are too well embedded locally in Crystal Lake. I try to compete where there is less low priced competition, where hopefully, the references build up the reputation enough to wipe out some or most of the cost factors alone and allow the customers to have a deeper desire for more professional specifications, not just the bare minimum specs.

I have been getting a decent amount of leads from Barrington Hills and Inverness so far, without there names included in the Signature.

I think your site is the opposite of mine (Which I am in the process of changing). Mine is too much design - not enough business. Yours is too much business not enough design. Hope that is helpful.

Bad lay out meta description is to long layout is spread out to much. Just looks cheap and raw. If it makes you feel any better the guy that made it site looks just as bad. That should had been a sign right then. Hope you dont have much invested in it. You may get hits for content but not sure anyone will stay very long.

Ideas start over. all you need is a layout the content can be copied in to it.

Sorry if that seemed harsh you can get a great looking 5 pg site for around 500.00 and hosting around 55-60 a year.

Look at modern styles web site he said around 500.00

i did this one for 500.00 www.sniderroofing.com
