Free leads plus free listing, you better jump on it. It sounds like they are starting a website and are offering a free spot until people start buying.

FREE stuffs always requires conditions -> Let they use your company for their advertising, emails, and/or marketing purposes later (to promote their web presence). Don't believe in "No Strings Attached" anymore.
The rest is up to you.

I went through the process partway to see what was up. It wanted $249. for a roofing listing. I can get PR5 directory listings for free.

It seems like they want to offer free listings untill their site becomes populated and popular, then they will turn the old fee up...as long as you can get out when they start charging, sounds like a deal. But are homeowners liking for the contractor to call them? I mean it seems like a hassle to have to wait for contractors to call you, when you can just open up the yellow pages and get some one on the phone instantly and free...

People are efficient so yes they would use it because waiting for 3 painters or what ever to call you back is better than calling 15 because nobody answers and only talking to one.

I'm talking with them currently and they are advertising in my area. Most lead services offer free listings initially to get a few contractors in an area, then start promoting the area and after they get a few free leads for the contractors will begin charging.
As of now it's $295 for a 3 zone area and 1 trade. They said they'd give me a free upgrade to 5 zones and 2 trades. I'm probably going to do it and try it out for 3 months.

Why not try them out, but I would only buy with a low limit credit card. Many of these companies in the past messed with your (my) payment schedule and then you fight to get credited back. I'm gonna pass on this one.

See I thought it was free for you. I see not doing it if it is going to cost you to join a new not very high ranking website, but for free what the heck is the big deal?

Free for a short time, you still need to give them your credit card info. I don't have a low limit card and I don't have time to read a 5 page legal document explaining my rights, or lack thereof.
