what about this type of lead service

We all know people are busy and want mutiple estimates but don't always have timem. What if there was a service that offered a liason to come out for a very small fee to get rid of tire kickers and then they get the bids for the client and present each offer. The contractor pays nothing. Maybe very small yearly fee twentyy five dollars. If said contractor gets job upon signing contract he pays liason company a percentage based on sliding scale. Bigger the job smaller the percentage. Thoughts?

Yikes, sounds like a scary and confusing proposition. Customers may be confused as to why someone else is visiting them. Once there you would need to know every facet of each individual contractor including what they offer, their business ethic, practices, preferences, pricing, etc.

I wish there was a feasible way for something like this to really work, but for us smaller guys going out and meeting the customers and selling our services is something we just need do.

Most of us know that this is part of what we signed on for.

I wouldn't want someone outside my company presenting our offer.

Good Luck

Exactly.

It won't work. Especially on repair jobs when a serious knowledge of the craft is required.
