Quick Question (How Much Are These Leads Worth?)
Hi there guys,
Wonderful forum here - Okay, let me briefly introduce myself. I have been generating leads for advertisers similar to ServiceMagic etc. for a while and I'm starting to realize that it would make more sense if I sold these leads directly to you, the contractor. That way, we both benefit by cutting out the middleman. I generate my leads online through Google & Yahoo so you can be sure that the people who fill out the form are highly interested in that particular project. Now because I'm starting out and I need to build credibility, I'll be selling these leads way cheap and I'll limit it to ONLY 3 contractors. To get repeat business from you guys, the quality of my leads have to be good. That's a no-brainer. Now, I have a quick question - I've been generating 4+ leads a day for an advertiser who promotes 'free estimates' for sun room/patio room type projects. What would that type of lead be worth to you? Here's what the visitor fills out on the form - 1.) Type of home 2.) Time frame for project 3.) Name 4.) Address 5.) Zipcode 6.) Primary phone 7.) E-Mail 8.) Best time to call (There are other fields but the above ones are compulsory) So to re-iterate my question... How much would you be willing to pay for this type of lead? I hope this makes sense. Let me know what your thoughts are on this! |

Service Magic is owned by Ask.com...I HIGHLY doubt you're selling them leads.

I would need 5 free ones to test your service first.
If the leads were OK I would pay you $25.00 per lead but I would want a spend limit put into place.

Re: Quick Question (How Much Are These Leads Worth?)
It would definatley depend on how much I could make from your leads. Just because the homeowner fills out a form doesn't mean they will buy from me especially if you are selling leads to multiple contractors as well as myself. If I could sell the job and make a bundle I would pay about 25.00. Us contractors have most all been burnt by internet lead gen services and if you can find a way to make it work for us then you would earn a lot of business.

Re: Quick Question (How Much Are These Leads Worth?)
I would be willing to pay $150 per lead per closed deal over $10k. I would pay $250 per lead per closed deal over $50k.
Work a system around those parameters and I'll sign up for your service. |
