Online Leads (roofers) - The Good? The Bad?
Hey guys/gals, my first post so I'll try to make it half way useful. My cousin and I have been running a roofing biz for 5 years, and we are now looking into these online lead sites, to fuel some growth and keep growing this biz of ours. They make everything sound wonderful of course, but I wanted to hear it from the people who actually use them. We've thought up some questions to ask so here goes:
What's the best thing about these online lead sites? What's the worst thing? How many leads are normally sent to you a month? How much do you pay for a single lead? How much do you normally spend a month buying online leads? Whats your success (closing) percentage rate? How many other contractors do you have to compete with? Thanks to anyone who can provide some input to any of these questions. You don't necessarily have to be a roofer like us, we'd appreciate your comments either way. Thanks! Go Eagles! |

First let me say welcome to the site!
This topic has been heavily covered here and you will learn a lot about this online lead companies. Here is a great place to start reading: http://www.contractortalk.com/f100/ (5 pages worth of online lead information) Personally, they are not worth the money, if you want to lose money, go outside and throw it down in the street before giving it to these online companies.

Hey Cole, thanks for the input. I've been reading through the online lead forum today, some nice info. From what I gather it appears many of these places either:
Charge too much for leads & Send you mostly garbage leads Am I correct in my assumptions? Do these places verify their leads, by email at least? |

Cole,
Thanks again. Any idea how much roofers typically pay per lead? How much does a roofer normally spend on leads a month? Thanks! Mike |
