I would like to have this system built around ya'll, not my pocket book. As I am just a small business owner like the rest of you, I intend to be around for years to come because of reputation, not because I have padded my business account by recharging people early, selling leads a zillion times, buying leads from affiliates to resell and give you the same unnacceptable excusses you've been hearing, etc.

Charge the homeowners 75 bucks and estimate give me 40 bucks and keep the other 35.

I think you should give us $49.95 for every lead we visit. If we sell the job you get $99.95 back, but you have to call us 5 times to get your money, and then we hold it until you have proven we owe it to you, and all the time we get to say you didn't follow the correct procedure

My past experiences with lead services are they are lying, cheating no good scum of the earth that would sell their first born 3-4 times to the devil to make money.
Hope that helps

Each contractor in our Network meets a strict requirement of being licensed and insured
|
Wouldn't you call that a bare minimum rather than a "strict requirement"?
I know what you're trying to say, but wouldn't it sound better if you phrased it that being licensed and insured was a given for your contractors, and then implying some greater qualification like actual quality?

In regards to how I am generating the leads. A couple ways, internet obviously, but the main volume at the moment will be from direct canvassing in the houston and dallas/ft worth areas. I headed up a canvassing campaign this past summer and generated 200+ leads that were all called and verified before they hit the system. Worked pretty well.

Spend the next two hours doing this and then wait a day or two. Let me know how long it ends up taking.

Yes because I chose good men you have earned that faith
You have to have that faith and it has to be contagious or you will fail. I have all the faith in the world that it will be successful, here's the reason: I provide a quality product that people CAN be successful with, not might.
Good answer.
If it's not good for you, then I'm just spending money for no reason except to loose my house, car, everything. i don't think my wife and 3 little kids would appreciate living on the street.
Seems like an honest from the heart reply

Cool doug gave you a helping hand run with it grasshopper

1.You don't have any credit??? The cost for advertising for a small lead generation service is around $1,000.00 a day, not $7.50. Example: SM spends 15 to 20 g's a day.
2.Need publicity on the TV or XM radio to let people know you exist.
3. Also, you will never get a natural search on Google. The market is too large. The company is too new. Example: search Yahoo, if you type free estimate 372,000,000 sites or free estimate home improvement 41,100,000. One company pops first page on over 100 key words
1 year in the internet world is like 7 to 8 human years. Things change really quick in that world. Ad click is already deadbeat 4 years later. The next big thing from xyz just hit the market and it's more expensive again.
4. A good CUSTOM database
This is the heart. If this fails you might be in big trouble, automatic charge on credit cards glitch or hackers
5. It takes money to make money. If you don't have money to start your company, you be next to all the other ones who did take the money and run, because they could not refund what was not yours in the beginning.
6. You will get calls from companies who will ask you if you can provide 75 to 150 leads a month for them and if you can provide leads to them exclusively, how much per leads.
(ppc at 35 clicks for one request at 2.50 = around $85 your cost.
7. No bank loan money for internet based lead generation services. A lot of new comers, with no change. Just the same old thing.
The second generation hit the market in the UK last year and now coming to the USA. Are you ready for change?
Best of luck to you
