Re: How Do You Use Google Adwords Or The Yahoo Version

Sounds like a simple question doesn't it! Unfortunately, it can almost be the same is asking "I want to fly to the moon, any tips?".

Some would argue that Adwords advertising is as much an art as a science.

Here are a few tips to get you going:
  • Be sure and set a maximum daily budget that you can afford.
  • Geotarget ALL of your keywords.
  • Don't allow your ads to be shown in the "content network".
  • Think long-tail keywords - don't just target "remodeling" instead think of keywords & phrases that are very specific - like "bathroom remodeling in your city, state" or "tile flooring contractor". Also don't forget about all the names of your competitors as keywords!
Test, Track and Refine - then Test, Track and Refine again to infinity.

Like most things in life, you would be far better off to hire a pro to optimize and manage your campaign for you. The learning curve with PPC can be long and expensive.

Hope this helps!
