Homeimprovementportal.com

Has anyone used Homeimprovementportal.com for lead generation. They offer an exclusive. They have been calling me and it sounds pretty good but I would love to get some feedback from current users.
Thanks in advance
Marc

Marc,

Did you ever sign up with homeimprovementportal.com? If so, how does it rate compared to Service Magic (I currently use SM)?

Thanks,
Brian Phillips

Marc, I believe that I use them or have used them....I will check. I think that they might go by another name also. I am have good luck with window buyer and Quinstreet. Check out Quinstreet, they have a good program and the leads actually answer the phone.

Hey Brian, Haven't heard from you in a long time. How are things?
WE did start using them. Here are the results from internet lead companies.

Homeimprovementportal..........5 leads, 3 sales ($21,593)
Qualitysmith.........................9 leads, 1 sale ($9,000)
Quinstreet...........................28 leads, 3 sales ($28,890)
Renovationexperts.................12 leads, 6 sales ($39,747)
ServiceMagic........................184 leads, 34 sales ($429,915)

Hope this helps but as you know Brian............A lead is a lead is a lead

Marc,

Things are going well. I've got 2 businesses going now.

I've increased our leads by 71% through the first 9 months this year, and need an even bigger increase next year to meet my goals. So I'm looking at all of the options.

I appreciate the numbers. It really is great to ask a question of someone who can give such information.

I spoke to the people at homeimprovementportal today. Based on what they said, and your numbers, it does seem that the closing rate may be a little higher than other internet referral services. But obviously you aren't getting a lot of leads from them either. That was the info I was really looking for, since I'm looking to double my leads next year.

I agree that a lead is a lead. If they want the service I offer, I'm going to sell them on it.

As a follow up, what is your cost per lead for each of the internet services, and your overall cost per lead.

Isn't it fun running your business by the numbers?

Brian Phillips
