Talking I Have

It is Contractors dot com. You need to join the service. A pay per month $19, $59, 199 per month plus the cost of the leads. The more you pay the closer to the top of the list you get or should I say top of the pyramid you get.
It seems if you work in Maryland, VA or DC you can get in at the bottom without paying the $19 per month. Why? I think its because it is set up in DC.
The leads have dropped off. But they have teamed up with HGTV, DIY to generate more leads.
I get the leads by email, but I have never bought one. Bad taste from SM and seeing some of the lead emails with comments on them like "I need the lowest price for this project". A person like that probably has 5 quotes already and would like 5 more.
By the way, it seems these lead companies all want to get a monthly fee from you. Not just them but other types site on the net also.

HGTVPro

To be fair, the monthly fee you pay to Contractors.com gets you a listing in the directory - as far as I know - that appears on Contractors.com, HGTVPro.com and the Marketplace kitchen and bath pages of HGTV.com and DIY.com. The more you pay, the higher grouping you enter in the directory. You also are able to buy leads on top of getting the listing. The leads are good and high value leads, like kitchen redos, are sold to only three contractors max instead of the whole world. I joined up for one of my companies and I'm happy so far. I'm getting calls on my listing plus leads that I buy.
