dont know of them have exp with service magic. Wish I would have found this forum before I signed with SM nothing but bad and now I have to think all the other services the same. going back and doing what I did in the early 80's. Hit the streets and talk to people drum up my own work.
good luck

Re: Has Anyone Used ConstructionReferralService.com?
i to feel the same why are we making these companies money..?after bidding the leads they sell 3 or more times and hacking or prices to nothing i think i walked away on somejobs making less than i paid for the lead.
what i come to realize is that servicemagic bought alot of the little lead companies, and left there sites intact so now the leads are sold to multiple companies, multiple times. think about with out us there would be none of this if we banned together. people would submit leads and they would get no response and people would go back to finding good contractors the old fashion way. i do believe there are better ways of getting leads buy paying a price per yr or mnth and having our names comeup in searches and let people choose. i personally have stopped buying leads in 2005 and have survived good with out them, right now things are a little slow everywhere and if you think that buying leads for big jobs will help you got another thing comming! after bidding against others the jobs will end up costing you money twice.they make 100% profit on a lead whats our percent.? and we get the real winners to deal with and try to keep them happy! i think all contractors should stop buying leads and let the lead companys feel what we are feeling. just my opinion
