There are lots of ways to submit an online listing for free. However, the free listings won't get you much exposure. If someone is looking for you by name, they can find you.

I listed my company is several places, for free. I just figure it couldn't possibly hurt.

Here are a few places to list for free.

Bing local
Yahoo local

I'm sure there are more, but that's all I could think of now.

Ironically, I just wrote an article about this topic.

Here's the quick summary:


Leads and marketing either cost you money, time, or a combination of the two. However, they are NEVER free. The efforts may not cost you anything financially (networking, for example), but there is a cost investment of your time.
