WILL SUB OUT this tile job-opinions

i am going to sub out a tile job to someone,a local guy. its a 12x20 space. i am paying him 7 bucks a square foot for instal and 2 per square foot for removing the old tile. so 9 per square foot total. i am charinging 12 total. pocket change but its a car payment. its a flat surface and pretty simple.
then i am doing a bathroom, where he is charging the same price. no shower pan,its already there. this guy is good so i am paying a high price in new york. any opinions on the price? i know you guys hate talking price but this is a sub job.
thanks

Install price seems fair if its 12" ceramic set horizontal

I think he's getting ripped for the demo, but if he wants to do it for that, let him I guess.

You need to provide a whole lot more information here. Whats under the tile right now? What kinda tile you usin, what size whats the pattern and a whole lot more? What kinda floor here, framed or cement slab? Is it flat, any cracks? What prep work will need to be done to the floor and who is paying for that? I could think of a lot more questions before I would try to answer this one.
