vender discounts

does anyone get discounts from where they buy their tile. I recently discovered that the showroom that I buy my tile from are making about 40 % to 50% on my tile.

Are you a contractor? If so I would talk to a sales rep. Around here, the standard contractor discount is 30% to 40% off showroom price depending on the manufacturer, and pricing gets better with higher volume too.
