Question VCT removal

I am bidding on a commercial deal that involves removal as well as installation of VCT. I'm not sure what to charge for removing old vct(not asbestos)

Then you shouldn't be bidding the job and attempting to take work from legitimate flooring contractors.

You lack the experience necessary to facilitate the endeavor in which your query is referenced to. Go away now.

Oh and learn how to ****ing search.

When in doubt - guess

Guestimate how long it will take you, and charge your typical hourly prep rate.

If it's down with cut back - wear old shoes and old knee pads - you'll get them tar'ed up and stain the new floor.

If it's down with clear thin spread - buy or rent a powered floor scraper. I own the Sinclair duro model... $1500.00 and it's paid for itself a dozen times.

Those alligator trash bags work well - hold about 25 lbs without tearing.

A flat shovel would be useful.

Enjoy yourself. Pulling up VCT suxors without an iPod.
