Vct Over Sealed Basement Concrete
can vct be installed below grade on sealed concrete? would a skimcoat of ardex help to adhere the glue?

I have done it once with a long disclaimer. It's not recommended by anyone and doesn't adhere very well, even the ardex. It can work, and mine is still going strong but its more for aesthetics, no real traffic. You have to install the tiles damn tight so that getting one to come up you have 4 other tiles around it holding it down... if you have the clearance look into a floating subfloor system. I didn't
