Update on my refinishing job..

I posted about refinishing hardwood last month..


I took your advice and rented a random orbital sander this weekend. Sanded the floor. Stain is drying now. It looks great.

I do have some real small and barely noticeable squirl marks alittle smaller then a dime. What caused that? It looks great though.

Well unfortunately random orbital sanders leave little swirls that look like pig tails about the size of a dime -they stand out more on certain types of wood (maple, cherry,birch types). justin
